LOS ANGELES (March 3, 2014) - Maranatha! Music has done it again. The fanfare, success, and hype of past Top 25 Series CDs spurred the release of a new gem: Top 25 Gospel Songs 2014 Edition. The upcoming album, in stores and online March 18, 2014, boasts all original artist recordings from some of the brightest, biggest, and best Gospel artists performing the praise songs the church yearns to hear.
"After gaining momentum from the previous album, Top 25 Gospel Songs 2014 Edition completely captures the spirit of Gospel praise music on one record," said Randy Alward, president and CEO of Maranatha! Music. "It's not easy to narrow down the top 25, but we've created an album we feel is today's best of the best, and we couldn't be more proud. The collection of songs from legendary Gospel artists, Gospel hit-makers and up and coming heatseekers, truly compliments each other."
Top 25 Gospel Songs 2014 Edition features both mega and emerging artists including recent Grammy® winner Tye Tribbett, Gospel greats Tamela Mann, Fred Hammond and Mary Mary, and groundbreaker Charles Jenkins & The Fellowship Choir, along with many others. This collaboration of artists and songs make a spiritual yet harmonious double album. The fans that have enjoyed all the Top 25 Gospel Songs recordings will fall in love with Top 25 Gospel Songs 2014 Edition.
The Top 25 franchise sold nearly 2 million units since its inception, and this brand extension, Top 25 Gospel Songs 2014 Edition, continues the best-selling tradition.
